Black Swan for kids

Was I bored? Creative? Or just a bad parent?
A few weekends back, My wife and I dressed up our daughter as a black swan for a photo shoot. The shoot lasted four minutes before a melt down. Click here to see the shoot or to report me to Family Services.

Jessica and John

John and Jessica are a great looking couple. And they were very into getting great pictures so they were on board for any of my ideas. Everything took place at French Creek Country Club, which was a beautiful place. See some of the pictures here.

Steve and Jaime

Steve and Jaime's wedding took place on a very hot and humid day. But they were great sports traveling to some of the odd locations I suggested. We ran out of time, but still got some good ones. See Here

Its been a while

With my crazy schedule, blogging has fallen by the waist side. But I wanted to put up a few things I have been working on.

At this wedding I had a blast. Paul and Mariana family came from all parts of the globe and made for one hell of a party. See some of the pictures here.

30 Frames a second

In every second of video there are 30 pictures that are captured. So to be a video shooter you have to be a photographer (and vice versa). My point is I use both to keep the creativity fresh.

Here is a video I shot for a local sushi joint. It's food is to die for. Check out the video.

VIDEO, BEER, and NEW GEAR...

VIDEO, BEER, and NEW GEAR...fun combination.
I shot this video a few months back. But the brewery just went live with it. It was done in a Half day, but would have loved to have longer. I had a lot of fun making this. Take a look. If you enjoy it, rate it. Links below.

If 2009 was a good year. Then 2010 will be great. Here are a few things I finished up at the end of the year. I shot both pieces in a half of day(by myself). And one day of editing.

It was a little cold. And really crowded. But this fun, artistic couple was a blast to spend time with. Here are a few pictures from our evening at Longwood Gardens. Here is the slideshow

Charli and Andy

Check out pics from this one.

There are no winners...when a baby dies

So a few months back I donated a gift for a benefit for a sick baby. No brainer...right!

The baby is Sweet Baby Zane, (that should be a Billy Corgan song).

Unfortunately this little girl lost her battle to SMA, a rare childhood disease. And my heart goes out to her parents. But the fight goes on. With Zane's family and her twin sister (Avery) they're raising awareness about this disease. Please go to the site and look around, buy something, tell a friend. You can even get your literature from there. Check It Out!

And check out the photos of the winner of the silent auction , Milk Baby.

Also, I want to remind you about Trey Love. Watch his video, because there are a thousand like him. DO SOMETHING!

Visionary

Toll Brothers and Pulte homes are nice. But one visit to this visionary builder's home, you will never want a cookie cutter home again.

The least I could do...

When I think about war or combat, I want to curl up in a ball under my bed, and call out for my mommy until she comes. So when I do meet someone who does protect this country, I admire them greatly. So for this couple, I brought my "A" game.
Poured rain all day. Forced to play jazz and improvise.

Here are a few

Action Jackson

Action Jackson. That's a understatement. Kit-Kats and Fruit Punch is his weakness. But unfortunately it's also my cameras, it couldn't focus on him, he was moving so quick. So these are a bit more artsy (we'll go with that word) then I would have liked. But he's a super cute kid. Click here for a gallery! Or here for a slideshow (ie grandparents)

John Valerio

A few evening back, I worked with a very talented musician named John Valerio (and his trusty sidekick). It was a little crisp, and I had a few equipment glitches. But all in all, it went pretty well.

Here are a few shots, or a side show here.

Also, I believe he is playing this Thursday at Molly McGuire's. Stop in for a pint!

Check out his music here.
And if you miss this musician. Check these out

The Duce is Loose

Our trip to Washington to see the new Duce addition was a sucess!

Talon lived up to all the billing. He's a cutie!

Here are some pics from our afternoon in Arlington. A slide show if you click here.

This a true story

That night, after visiting with the Duces. Our daughter woke us up at 3 in the morning saying "get in car...obama's house".

She's 18 months. Here are some pics from her first visit to the nations capital.
